Project Manager - Insurance in Madrid, Andalucía at Winning

From Winning Consulting, we are looking for a Project Manager / PMO Consultant to join our teams in a strategic transformation programme for a leading international insurance company.

Location: Hybrid - Spain

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate transformation initiatives across business and technology teams, ensuring scope, planning, risks, dependencies, and deliverables are properly managed.
• Provide PMO support across global workstreams, including project tracking, reporting, governance materials, RAID logs, action plans and decision follow-up.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams and external partners, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
• Support business analysis activities when needed: requirements gathering, process documentation, workshops and functional follow-up.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, status reports and steering committee materials.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or blockers, and drive actions to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate international stakeholders and support the adoption of new processes, tools or operating models.

• Proven experience as Project Manager, PMO Consultant or Business Consultant in transformation projects.
• Previous experience in consulting or professional services environments will be highly valued.
• Strong PMO skills: planning, reporting, governance, risk management, follow-up and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
• Background in insurance or financial services is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prepare clear executive documentation.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

• Experience in insurance transformation projects, operating model changes, process improvement or digital initiatives.
• Knowledge of Agile, hybrid or waterfall delivery models.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel or similar.
• Additional European language will be positively valued.
