Function & Responsibility

Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions. Responsible for a strategic roadmap for a fully scalable IT solution that is ultimately cloud-based. This includes directing all IT Operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support, security and maintenance of existing infrastructure, applications, data, and development of new technical solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, vision, and management within the IT department.
  • Implement a strategic road map for the entire IT function for a fully scalable IT solution that is ultimately cloud-based.
  • Consults with management and key stakeholders to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope, resources and priorities of projects, including system capacity and implementation.
  • Recommends and develops plans for systems and operational enhancements, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing.
  • Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.
  • Responsible for collaborating cross-functionally in the adoption of automation, process and task-oriented efficiencies as it pertains to data management, system integration, and reporting.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors management of information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products.
  • Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware.
  • Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.
  • Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems.
  • Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans.
  • Work with the team to enhance current technologies to improve client services.
  • Develop best practices and written documentation for all IT solutions both hosted internally and on the cloud.
  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities will include interviewing, training and motivating employees; planning, assigning and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; resolving conflicts.
  • Work with leadership and various functions to modernize the company's infrastructure and systems, including reporting (Power BI, AX Dynamic (ERP) globally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Project a professional attitude and aptitude.
  • Strong listening skills and information gathering skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing in English. Outstanding communicator in groups or one on one.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with scalable data structures (Analytical, Snowflake Schema), storage methods (Cloud-Azure, SQL, AWS), including Data Marts, Lakes, and Warehouses.
  • Systems design and development process, including business case development, requirements analysis, software design, programming, testing, installation, data conversion, user training, and production rollout
  • Project management methodologies and tools, business process analysis, and redesign.
  • IT operations, including hardware and software maintenance and support, systems and network administration, and telecommunications.
  • Understands business implications of decisions; Aligns work with strategic goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively lead others.
  • Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications including word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and presentation software.
  • Ability to write various types of correspondence including articles, reports, and presentations.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to teach, train, and develop others.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and work successfully on simultaneous projects.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Strong attention to detail but also have a desire to understand the big picture.
  • Experience with Microsoft AX Dynamics ERP system with a good understanding of data integration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline, or a combination of education and related work experience. Master’s degree preferred
  • 10-15 years of experience in handling the responsibilities outlined above
  • At least three (3) years of experience supervising or managing others.
