Product Technical Lead, Senior SME

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Technical Lead, Senior SME in the United States.

This role serves as the technical backbone of a mission-critical data and integration ecosystem, acting as both product owner and solution architect in a highly dynamic, cloud-first environment. You will lead end-to-end delivery of data ingestion, transformation, and interoperability capabilities that directly support mission outcomes. Working across engineering, product, and stakeholder groups, you will translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, including backlog ownership and sprint governance. You will guide Agile/DevSecOps teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance delivery. This is a highly visible role where technical depth, delivery discipline, and cross-functional alignment are essential.

Accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for data ingestion, transformation, interoperability, and integration across distributed systems
  • Own and prioritize product backlog items, drive sprint planning, and ensure Agile delivery aligns with program objectives
  • Provide technical leadership across data engineering, AI/ML, and enterprise system integration initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align delivery timelines, technical direction, and mission needs
  • Oversee DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerization, and release management
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks, privacy requirements, and operational standards such as RMF and Zero Trust
Requirements

This position requires deep technical expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud environments, and Agile delivery, along with strong leadership and communication capabilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience with 14+ years in lieu of degree)
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise architecture, or data integration roles
  • Proven experience leading Agile and DevSecOps teams in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or VAEC
  • Strong background in microservices architecture, APIs, and large-scale data platforms
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, containers, and modern DevSecOps toolchains
  • Knowledge of security frameworks including RMF and Zero Trust architectures
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations, prioritize work effectively, and drive delivery in complex environments
  • Preferred certifications include CSPO/CSM, AWS or Azure Architect certifications, SAFe Agilist, or Security+
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $175,000 – $190,000 USD
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions
  • Generous paid time off and holiday benefits
  • Remote work flexibility in a fully distributed environment
  • Professional development and certification support
  • Strong focus on work-life balance and employee well-being
