Job Summary:
A Machine Operator installs and operates various types of machinery. Their main duties include performing routine maintenance checks, following strict safety regulations and guidelines, providing the occasional troubleshooting tasks and operating mechanical or computer-operated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Physical Execution
• Run machine based on product and process parameters
• Verify correct materials and labels before starting
• Monitor Machine Performance During Production
• Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously
• Ability to bend, twist, and walk throughout the shift
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift 8-10+ hours.
Quality & Compliance
• Inspect product quality for seals, weight, and labeling
• Ensure packaging and product meet specifications and quantity
System & Documentation
• Complete batch record documentation accurately
Changeover & Support
• Assist with line changeovers and equipment cleaning
Qualifications:
• High school diploma required
Hiring Requirements:
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment and machinery and an understanding of manufacturing process, GMP, SOP (1-2 yrs exp.)
