Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright is responsible for repairing and adjusting machinery and equipment as required to provide safe and efficient operation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

• Follow safety procedures and comply with all related safety and security regulations. Take action to correct unsafe work habits. Operate equipment safely. Report and/or correct unsafe work conditions as appropriate.
• Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with established housekeeping standards.
• Repairs machinery and equipment as required.
• Adjust production machinery and equipment to provide safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose potential mechanical problems and breakdowns.
• Completion of assigned PMs by scheduled date.
• Keep production equipment in good working condition.
• Keep machine downtime to a minimum.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge/Skill/Experience):

• Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright.
• Grade 12 or equivalent technical training.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Four year's related experience.
