Sales Coordinator in Ocala, Florida at Matheny Motors

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a sales support position responsible for assisting with the profitability of new business for the company. The candidate must be able to solve problems and manage sales files to ensure files are complete/accurate and profitable. The candidate must be customer focused, be an excellent communicator, be experienced in a dynamic sales environment, work unsupervised and have an understanding of sales margins and ensure they are in line with the company goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting Sales Reps with quotes in ez-ONE, HS1, and Quote Writer.
• Create detailed purchase orders for submittal to vendors.
• Create all Apparatus invoices, process transfer of title documents, warranty registration, & apparatus acceptance documents.
• Handle customer calls related to apparatus invoices, titles, and tags.
• Develop and maintain an accurate database of customer’s orders.
• Manage contract reporting, forecasting, and order confirmations.
• Schedule and coordinate pre-builds & inspections.
• Oversee truck file management to ensure each apparatus file contains all of the required information prior to placing order with E-ONE, and REV O.
• Assist with all apparatus bid documents.
• Assist with all sales related documents. (sales quote forms, proposals, quote compares, & net change reports.
• Marketing support and social media accounts.
• Assist sales reps with Concur reporting.
• Track all expenses associated with customer visits to ensure they are accounted for sales orders.
• Ensure Department profitability through prudent oversight and adherence to REV RTC purchasing and accounting procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be highly organized and able to multi-task.

• Must have experience with customized apparatus sales
• Must be able to travel to customer locations.

• Must have an understanding of contracts.
• Must be independent and able to be productive in an unsupervised environment

• Must be able to work hours commensurate with customers in the fire-rescue industry

• Must have an understanding of accounting principles with understanding of profit and loss.
