In this role, you will manage the full cycle of inbound consumer direct mortgage lending, from initial borrower contact through loan closing, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a strong customer experience.
- Handle a high volume of inbound, qualified mortgage leads and convert them into funded loans
- Build strong relationships with borrowers by understanding their financial needs and guiding them toward appropriate loan solutions
- Analyze borrower financial profiles and recommend suitable loan products, including conventional and government programs
- Structure, price, and lock loans accurately at point of sale in alignment with guidelines and compliance requirements
- Collect initial documentation and prepare complete, paperless loan files for processing teams
- Maintain consistent follow-up with multiple borrowers and manage several active loan files simultaneously
- Collaborate with internal partners and real estate networks to support smooth loan execution and closing outcomes
This role requires strong mortgage origination experience, deep product knowledge, and the ability to succeed in a fast-moving, sales-driven call center environment.
- Minimum 2+ years of full-time mortgage loan origination experience, preferably in a consumer direct or call center setting
- Active NMLS license (Washington or ability to obtain as required)
- Strong knowledge of conventional and government loan programs (purchase and refinance)
- Proven ability to structure and price mortgage loans accurately
- Demonstrated success in a high-performance, commission-based sales environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to manage multiple files, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
