EPCM Power Plant Project Manager
Location: Anchorage, Alaska (Frequent travel to project site and contractor locations)

Donlin Gold is seeking an experienced EPCM Power Plant Project Manager to lead the planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup of the power generation and distribution infrastructure supporting one of the world's largest undeveloped gold deposits.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for delivering complex power infrastructure in a remote Alaska environment. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, EPCM contractors, and executive leadership to safely execute critical project milestones while ensuring exceptional performance in safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

What You'll Do
- Lead all phases of the power project lifecycle from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, startup, and operational handover.
- Develop and execute project strategies that support safety, quality, schedule, budget, and overall business objectives.
- Oversee engineering design, technical reviews, constructability, system integration, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage EPCM contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure successful project execution.
- Direct project budgets, schedules, forecasting, risk management, and change management activities.
- Coordinate closely with Project Controls, Procurement, Operations, Environmental, and other internal stakeholders.
- Support permitting activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Lead commissioning, system testing, energization, startup, and transition of completed facilities to Operations.
- Provide regular project updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE), PMP, PgMP, or similar professional certification preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience managing large capital engineering and construction projects.
- Experience leading EPCM contractors on complex industrial, mining, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of power generation, substations, transmission systems, and industrial electrical infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in remote or challenging project environments is highly desirable.
