Position Summary |
Receives and delivers all incoming supplies and equipment into the hospital in accordance with department policies and procedures and works within the Supply Distribution area completing other duties as assigned, as time permits, as needed.

Primary Position Responsibilities |

- Receives incoming supplies into Supply Chain Information System (SCIS) upon delivery at hospital loading dock, in accordance with hospital and department policies
- Delivers packages to designated departments as indicated on Purchase Orders or package labels
- Enters receipts for goods received directly at offsite locations and satellites as directed by location leaders
- Handles returns of goods and equipment as instructed
- Ensures outbound freight and packages are available in appropriate places for carrier pickups
- Replenishes tank par levels throughout the facility as needed on pre determined days and shifts
- Operates all power and manual equipment in a safe method as required to perform duties

1-2 year prior experience in a receiving department
Preferred:
1-2 years receiving in a healthcare setting, preferably hospital

Able to use a computer and learn basic programs and data entry
