Job Description
The General Operating Room (GOR) at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is a comprehensive, state-of-the-art surgical department consisting of 12 fully equipped operating rooms. Each operating room is standardized with advanced equipment and specialty-specific instrumentation and supplies to support safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care across a broad range of specialties.
The GOR provides surgical services in General Surgery, General Laparoscopic Surgery, Genitourinary (GU), Gynecology and Gynecologic Laparoscopy, Pediatrics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Neurosurgery and Neuro-Spine Surgery, as well as a growing Robotics Service Line. This diverse range of specialties allows the department to provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with routine, complex, and highly specialized surgical needs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years of RN Operating Room experience
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing
- Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Registered Nursing license, or Compact State licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
