In this role, you'll be responsible for overnight front desk operations, completing the daily financial audit, and helping ensure a safe, welcoming environment for our members and guests.

Job title: Overnight Auditor
Reports to: General Manager, Front Desk Supervisor
Classification: Hourly, Fulltime, Non-Exempt
Working Hours: According to shift assignment
Job purpose:
The Overnight Auditor provides overnight front desk services while completing daily financial reconciliation and supporting the safety and security of the property. This position ensures exceptional guest service, accurate financial reporting, and smooth overnight operations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests upon arrival and throughout their stay.
- Assists with any guest inquiries, answers incoming telephone calls, forwards call to the appropriate party or takes a message.
- Provides clerical support to the Club that may include but not limited to typing, copying, filing, composing routine correspondence, and preparation of outgoing mail.
- Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments within the Club.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all guests' information.
- Document all guest requests, complaints, or problems immediately and notify designated department for resolving the situation. Follow up to ensure completion and guest satisfaction.
- Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions offered by the Club.
- Be familiar with all in-house groups and high demand/restricted dates.
- Share knowledge of the property and amenities, along with any special events, local area attractions and things to do around the Club.
- Accurately complete the check-in and checkout process.
- Use creative reasoning and brand standard service tools to overcome guest objections and concerns and to ensure guest service satisfaction.
- Restocks front desk area and supplies as required or assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Monitors the lobby and helps maintain the safety and security of the property overnight.
- Monitors security cameras and performs light security checks.
- Reconciles the day's transaction from the front desk.
- Balance cash drawers and credit card transactions.
- Completes the nightly audit process and generates required reports for management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Working conditions
Work is primarily indoors. May be Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or being exposed to flying golf balls.

Physical requirements
Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues. Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas and write and read member communication.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 30 lbs., up to 20 lbs. frequently. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
Please be advised that all work that requires the use of a ladder more than 8 ft. long must be reviewed by Hampton Golf's Club Maintenance person. Following an assessment of the situation, a determination will be made as to whether a maintenance team member or subcontractors will perform the necessary maintenance task. No other staff member is authorized to climb to heights exceeding 8 ft. and/or perform such maintenance. In addition, personnel are prohibited from entering facility attics, walking on the roof of buildings and/or from using scaffolding.
