Set-up Packaging in Worcester, Massachusetts at Rise Baking Company, LLC

Job Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring the organization and stacking of produced product ready for distribution

Essential Functions:

• Inspect codes, labels and proper packaging for finished product
• Responsible for ensuring that boxes are being stacked in a timely fashion
• Responsible for the counts of produced boxes going out for distribution
• Working knowledge of all sanitary practices as they pertain to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and equipment washouts
• Maintaining all needed tools restocked
• Responsible for change over including confirming all required materials for production
• Responsible for shrink wrapping completed pallets and deliver to assigned area
• Ability to work in a fast paste environment
• Ability to taken and give instruction clearly
• Filling out any needed paperwork on a daily basis
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining packaging line area clean
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Food manufacturing experience desired

• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to effectively communicate with peers and leadership

• Ability to work cross-functionally, convey equipment issues, and maintain confidentiality

• Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change

• Detail oriented with the ability to organize and multitask

• Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

• Willingness to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business need

California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Washington, and New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $16.50 to $29.19 per hour. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
