*Please note: this position works out of our Boston office 3x per week, with the option to work from home 2x per week.



Responsibilities

As a member of the marketing & communications team, the Marketing & Communications Specialist will play a key role in the execution and organization of all external and internal marketing & communications campaigns, ensuring consistency, creativity, and effectiveness to reinforce the brand, strengthen and solidify reputation, and further the strategic goals of the business. This person will collaborate closely with marketing team members, executives, and stakeholders to create compelling content and integrate brand messaging across platforms—including social media, email, newsletters, ads, presentations, and various marketing collateral.

  • External Communications:
    • Develop and execute social media content and campaigns to promote projects, people, and culture, including generation of copy and project management of photography, video, graphics, and other digital assets.
    • Serve as partner to public relations agency, providing news, content, and insights to help agency develop compelling media pitches and outreach.
    • Compile and develop award submissions that highlight corporate, project, and personnel achievements.
    • Partner with brand team to develop assets that support marketing & communications campaigns.
    • Support day-to-day publishing and management of social media channels and regular website content updates to ensure brand messaging consistency, accuracy, and timely execution.
    • Assist with special projects including quarterly client newsletter.
    • Measure and report performance of marketing & communications efforts (notably social media and public relations) and recommend strategic adjustments based on data and findings.
  • Internal Communications:
    • Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting impactful and engaging employee communications, including emails, intranet posts, and talking points.
    • Partner with internal teams and employee resource groups to gather information and help develop clear, consistent, and timely employee messaging.
    • Support the planning and execution of company Town Hall meetings and internal events, including logistics coordination, day-of event support, messaging development, and creation of presentation decks and supporting materials.
    • Identify internal communications, campaigns, and priorities that can be translated externally and support execution through social media, newsroom content, and public relations tactics.


Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience at an integrated marketing/public relations agency or in-house marketing/communications team environment
    • Marketing & communications background required
    • B2B marketing experience preferred
    • AEC or CRE industry experience a plus
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
