EVS FLOOR CARE TECH-PART TIME in Westminster, Maryland at LifeBridge Health

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the stripping, buffing and waxing of floor surfaces throughout the hospital in accordance with safety and sanitation practices set forth by the guidelines provided. May also assist with general housekeeping duties such as room/office cleaning, restroom maintenance, trash collection, or other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred High School Diploma. Ability to read and write well enough to identify chemical agents, follow strict isolation procedures and complete paperwork

• Less than 2 years Minimum of one year of janitorial and floor care experience, preferably in a health care setting.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Ability to plan and execute floor care projects with minimal guidance from the supervisor/manager of EVS. Effective interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to communicate housekeeping activities with patients, staff and visitors.
