Job Description

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security is seeking a Technical Specialist to support the Network Infrastructure Solutions (NIS) team in our Data division located in our Durham, NC office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Assist in all phases of the configuration of WWAN products.
    • SIM routers and gateways
    • Perform firmware updates
    • Provision routers and gateways
  • Provide troubleshooting for configuring WWAN routers and gateways.
  • Monitor ticket system and remote assets
  • Interact with customers (internal and external) and vendors via phone and email correspondence
    • Provide customer service
    • Provide technical support
    • Create and triage Cases/RMAs
  • Assist in other departments as needed.

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


The physical environment requires the employee in an office/warehouse environment.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
