Job Description
Peer Career Educator Career Services and Experiential LearningProvide excellent customer service to all who walk into the Career Services and Experiential Learning Suite Schedule appointments for students and alumni that enter the Suite when Career Services and Experiential Learning staff are unavailable Conduct first-time appointments with students to provide an overview of Career Services and Experiential Learning resources and offer guidance on foundational topics such as resume building, and job searching platforms. Assist with maintaining the career resource library (print materials, online tools, how to guides) and provide feedback on materials from a student perspective Assist with Career Services and Experiential Learning events including preparing materials, logistics, greeting employers, helping students sign in, data entry or post event survey collection. Contribute to ongoing initiatives such as maintaining the Career Closet and supporting First Destination Survey data collection.
Position Responsibilities:
The Career Services & Experiential Learning Office is seeking enthusiastic, a responsible student to serve as Peer Career Educators (PCEs). Peer Career Educators play an important role in supporting fellow HU students and Alumni by increasing awareness of career resources, providing basic career guidance, and creating a welcoming first point of contact for the office.
This position is ideal for students who are passionate about professional development, enjoy helping others, and want to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills- must be comfortable engaging with peers, staff and external partners
- Dependable, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Desire to support HU students and alumni
- Maintain good academic standing
- Ability to work up to 10 hours per week in person
