* Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to the attention of supervisor.
• Records time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned.
• Advises Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or practices and/or vehicle abuse.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years transit bus or automotive repair experience
• Minimum recommended hand tools for Class II Mechanic
• High school graduate or equivalent education, training and experience
• ASE certification is preferred
• Ideally have previous fleet experience and are familiar with gasoline powered Ford E-Series transit buses and Ford Transit vehicles (Preferred)
