SCOPE:
| Provide technical support and drawings to support the Service Leader team, as well as AMS and Parts as needed. |
EDUCATION:
| Associate’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, or relevant experience. |
EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS: | 2 to 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, especially stamping/metalforming. General knowledge of stamping press function and design. General knowledge of metric drawings, clearances and tolerances, assembly drawings, material specifications and deviations. General knowledge of mechanical drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, rigging, electrical controls and wiring. |
JOB FUNCTIONS: | Supply drawings, technical information, and documentation as needed for the Service team. Use and understand the AE drawing network system to provide assembly, sub assembly, and component drawings when required. Create all estimates for service projects. Pull drawings and identify parts needed. Send RFQs to Parts department and manage quote responses. Prepare professional and well-written estimates. Estimate Tracking & Management – Make sure all estimate requests coming from reports, PM’s, CRM cases, etc. are addressed and tracked properly. Follow up with Service Leaders as needed to get approvals in a timely manner. Update service schedule on behalf of AMS team. Monitor upcoming AMS jobs and clarify any information needed at least a week in advance for upcoming jobs. Manage press manuals and documentation. Support AMS department as needed to generate proposals. |
