Position Summary
The Vice President of Revenue Cycle is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational performance, and long-term vision of the organization’s Revenue Cycle function. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this executive serves as the senior leader responsible for maximizing reimbursement, improving cash flow, optimizing technology, and building a scalable revenue cycle operation capable of supporting continued organizational growth.
This position provides executive oversight of Revenue Cycle Operations and Revenue Cycle Systems & Technology while partnering closely with Finance, Clinical Operations, Information Technology, Compliance, and Executive Leadership to ensure revenue cycle strategy aligns with organizational priorities.
The Vice President is expected to operate as an enterprise leader, driving innovation, developing future leaders, and serving as the organization’s subject matter expert on physician revenue cycle strategy.
Essential Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a multi-year Revenue Cycle strategic plan aligned with Elite DNA’s growth objectives.
- Establish organizational goals that improve reimbursement, operational efficiency, and patient financial experience.
- Identify opportunities to modernize revenue cycle operations through automation, technology, and process redesign.
- Build a scalable revenue cycle infrastructure capable of supporting continued geographic expansion and acquisitions.
Executive Leadership
Provide executive oversight for:
- Revenue Cycle Operations
- Revenue Cycle Systems & Technology
- Billing Operations
- Insurance Verification
- Accounts Receivable
- Payment Posting
- Denial Management
- Revenue Cycle Analytics
- Revenue Cycle Technology
Provide coaching and mentorship to department leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Financial Stewardship
Responsible for enterprise performance related to:
- Net Collection Rate
- Gross Collection Rate
- Days in Accounts Receivable
- Initial Denial Rate
- Cash Collections
- Revenue Forecast Accuracy
- Revenue Leakage
- Bad Debt
- Operational Productivity
Partner with Finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, reimbursement strategy, and cash flow planning.
Growth & Integration
- Lead revenue cycle due diligence for acquisitions.
- Develop standardized integration plans for newly acquired practices.
- Partner with Operations to ensure successful clinic openings and provider onboarding.
- Evaluate outsourcing opportunities and vendor partnerships when appropriate.
Technology & Innovation
- Establish the organization’s Revenue Cycle technology roadmap.
- Partner with IT to optimize practice management systems, clearinghouse performance, automation, and reporting capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and workflow automation, to improve efficiency and scalability.
Executive Partnership
Serve as a strategic advisor to:
- Vice President of Finance
- Executive Leadership Team
- Clinical Leadership
- Operations Leadership
- Information Technology
- Compliance
Provide executive reporting, operational updates, and strategic recommendations related to revenue cycle performance.

Requirements:Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive Revenue Cycle leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years leading multiple Revenue Cycle functions in a multi-site physician practice environment.
- Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of physician billing, reimbursement, payer operations, and revenue cycle technology.
- Experience developing leaders and managing cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or related field).
- Behavioral Health or outpatient specialty physician practice experience.
- Experience supporting acquisitions and rapid organizational growth.
- Experience leading revenue cycle technology implementations.
