As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced US Assistant Accounting Manager to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.
We are seeking a US Assistant Accounting Manager to support the Accounting Manager in overseeing the accounting operations of multiple US entities. This role is central to Salute's continued growth, providing hands-on accounting leadership across a multi-entity structure that includes several recently acquired businesses. The Assistant Accounting Manager will help drive the integration of those acquisitions, own key balance sheet reconciliations and schedules, support audit and compliance requirements, and contribute to system enhancement and process optimization initiatives. In addition to technical responsibilities, this individual will help develop and mentor Staff and Senior Accountants on the Salute team.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Accounting Manager in the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple US entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial close.
- Support integration requirements arising from several recent acquisitions, including onboarding acquired entities into Salute's accounting processes, chart of accounts, and reporting structure.
- Support audit and ongoing compliance requirements, serving as a key contributor to external audit requests, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules for specific balance sheet line items, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
- Help drive system enhancement and optimization projects, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and data integrity within accounting systems and processes.
- Aid in the development of Staff and Senior Accountants on the Salute team through coaching, review, and mentorship. Partner closely with related teams (eg. Treasury & AP)
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account analyses in accordance with US GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reporting.
- Partner cross-functionally with other Finance and business teams to support accurate financial reporting and informed decision-making.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial close processes.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and account schedules.
- Demonstrated experience supporting audits and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate.
- Experience supporting acquisition integration and post-close accounting activities.
- Experience with system implementations, enhancements, or accounting process optimization projects (SAGE Intaact a plus)
- Prior experience mentoring or developing junior accounting staff.
- Experience in a private-equity-backed or high-growth company environment.

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure
The salary range for this role is $95,000.00. This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave. This posted hourly rate is the final rate of pay for the position, based on job‑related factors consistent with applicable law.
