This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional SDR Director based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing Sales Development organization across a dynamic, globally distributed technology business. You will oversee regional SDR and BDR teams while building a scalable pipeline and developing the next generation of sales professionals. The position combines strategic leadership with a strong focus on coaching, culture, data-driven performance, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with regional sales, marketing, and field engineering leaders to align teams and accelerate business growth. A key part of the role is creating an environment where ambitious professionals can develop their skills and progress into broader sales and alliances careers. You will also experiment with innovative outbound strategies and adapt sales development approaches to changing market conditions.
You will provide strategic and operational leadership for regional SDR and BDR teams, driving pipeline generation while building a strong culture of development, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Lead regional SDR and BDR managers and teams across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
- Build and maintain a multi-million-dollar sales pipeline through effective inbound and outbound development strategies.
- Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop SDR Team Managers and other sales development leaders.
- Establish a high-performance culture focused on integrity, empathy, accountability, and professional development.
- Use data, CRM analytics, and performance metrics to guide team activities and continuously improve results.
- Develop scalable talent pipelines that prepare SDR professionals for future roles in sales, partnerships, and alliances.
- Work closely with Regional Sales VPs, Marketing, and Field Engineering to align sales development activities with broader business objectives.
- Develop regional strategies that account for the distinct dynamics of AMER, EMEA, and APAC markets.
- Leverage modern sales technologies and CRM systems to improve pipeline visibility and forecasting.
- Experiment with new outbound approaches and sales development methodologies in response to market changes.
- Promote continuous learning and encourage teams to develop strong knowledge of technology and business trends.
- Drive consistent execution across asynchronous, remote-first teams operating across multiple time zones.
Requirements:
You should be an experienced sales development leader with a strong record of building teams, generating pipeline, and developing sales talent in a technology environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, STEM, or a related field.
- Strong professional background in business development, sales development, or technology sales.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional outbound sales development results.
- Proven leadership experience, particularly managing managers or other sales leaders.
- Experience recruiting, mentoring, coaching, and developing SDR Team Managers.
- Strong understanding of pipeline generation, sales development processes, and modern outbound methodologies.
- Ability to use data, CRM analytics, and performance metrics to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
- Experience leveraging modern sales technology and CRM platforms for predictable pipeline forecasting.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to adapt sales development strategies to AMER, EMEA, and APAC market dynamics.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience partnering with sales, marketing, and field engineering teams.
- Ability to build scalable talent development programs that prepare team members for progression into senior sales and alliances roles.
