JOB PURPOSE

The Maintenance position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and general upkeep of OSI facilities and surrounding areas. This position performs routine cleaning of buildings, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas; collects and disposes of trash; and maintains exterior areas through general cleanup and weed control.

This position is a strong entry point for individuals who demonstrate strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability, with potential for future opportunities based on performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY

• Clean and stock restrooms, in all buildings.

• Mop, clean and polish office floors as needed.

• Pick up, dump and maintain trash in all facilities inside and outside.

• Weed control outside around buildings, fence lines and parking area.

• Maintain a safe and clean working area where cleaning.

• Clean breakrooms floors and take out trash.

• Pickup and dump chip hoppers.

• Operate forklift in safe and proper way.

• Shop hand wash stations clean and stocked.

• Set up tables and chairs for meetings and special events.

• May be other special cleaning or painting projects from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensure/ Credentials

High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred

Experience

Prior manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.

Special Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Must be able to push/pull up to 75 pounds.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to perform physical labor for a full 8-hour shift.

• Comfortable working around industrial equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
