Accountabilities:

Investigate and resolve root causes of incidents in critical system modules, reducing recurrence and improving platform stability.
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET and C#, with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Prepare client environments, configure integrations, and implement solutions using REST APIs, messaging platforms, and webhooks.
Create and maintain automated tests, including unit, integration, and regression testing, to ensure software reliability and quality.
Enhance system observability through logging, monitoring, metrics, and tracing practices to improve incident response and reduce downtime.
Conduct thorough code reviews and collaborate with team members through mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Work closely with business, implementation, and customer-facing teams to prioritize tasks, define technical scope, and ensure successful project delivery.
Participate actively in agile ceremonies, remove technical blockers, and support adherence to SLAs and quality standards.
Contribute to vendor governance activities, including technical validation, scope reviews, and acceptance criteria assessments.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; postgraduate studies are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development using .NET (C#), including work with critical systems and legacy codebases.
Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, background services, and software modernization initiatives.
Solid experience with SQL Server, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, messaging systems (such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus), OAuth2, and OpenID.
Knowledge of software architecture principles, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, modular systems, and design patterns.
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit or nUnit.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Azure cloud services, Git, and version control best practices.
Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Scrum, Kanban, and agile software development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
