The details

Acute Care Setting – Join a large, collaborative team in a fast-paced hospital environment where clinicians manage a diverse patient population. Caseloads commonly include orthopedics, neurological conditions, behavioral health, and critical care, offering a dynamic and rewarding clinical experience.

We are seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with experience in neurology, dysphagia management, swallow studies, and ICU care. Opportunities are also available in the NICU for clinicians with relevant experience or those eager to expand their skills and grow within a supportive team.

  • One (1) year hospital acute experience - inpatient, or in a skilled settings
  • Schedule is flexible
    • with a two weekend days/month requirement
    • one major/minor holiday requirement per year
    • Holiday and weekend shifts are eligible for shift differential, adding even more value to your role

The requirements:

  • Degree from an accredited school approved by CAA
  • Current state licensure or eligibility in Speech Language Pathology in Maryland
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • One (1) year clinical experience preferred - inpatient, or skilled settings
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
  • Strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
  • Focus on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence
  • Experience with documentation utilizing EMR

The responsibilities:

  • Speech Language Pathologist, SLP, will deliver quality speech services according to treatment plans
  • Documenting progress toward identified objectives
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation utilizing EMR platform
  • Conducting patient and family education
  • Display strong skills in flexibility, time management, and communication
