Client Practice Front-End Specialist
Location: On-site, Wichita, Kansas
Anesthesia Dynamics Management is seeking a Client Practice Front-End Specialist to temporarily support assigned pain management practices by coordinating patient referrals, insurance authorizations, scheduling, and chart preparation.
This role serves as a key point of contact between referring providers, patients, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and physician practices to ensure referrals are processed accurately and appointments are scheduled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage incoming patient referrals
- Review referral documentation and identify authorization requirements
- Obtain and track insurance authorizations and approvals
- Create and maintain accurate patient records and charts
- Coordinate scheduling between providers, facilities, and patients
- Communicate with patients, referring offices, and facility staff to resolve front-end issues
- Request and track medical records and supporting documentation
- Monitor referral and authorization status to ensure timely follow-up
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with established procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One to two years of experience in a medical office, scheduling, referral coordination, insurance authorization, or a similar healthcare administrative role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with electronic health records, practice management systems, and standard office software
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience supporting pain management, surgical practices, or ambulatory surgery center (ASC) workflows is helpful but not required
Compensation
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour - Part-time - estimated 25 hours per week
