This role sits at the heart of a fully remote digital workplace, ensuring employees can seamlessly access the tools, information, and communications they need every day. You will help maintain and evolve the organization’s SharePoint-based intranet “front door,” improving usability, structure, and engagement across a distributed workforce. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support the transition to modern SharePoint while enhancing content organization and digital collaboration experiences. The position blends technical platform support with user experience improvement, making internal systems more intuitive and effective. You will contribute to tool adoption across Microsoft 365 and related platforms such as Box, Zoom, and Tango. In this environment, clarity, consistency, and accessibility are key to enabling mission-driven teams to operate efficiently and stay connected.
You will be responsible for supporting and improving the digital workplace experience by maintaining intranet systems, assisting with content structure, and enabling smooth collaboration across tools and teams.
- Maintain and update the SharePoint Online intranet “front door,” including navigation, structure, and content organization to ensure a clear and user-friendly experience
- Assist in building and updating modern SharePoint pages with a focus on usability, accessibility, and consistency
- Support governance tasks such as permissions management, metadata upkeep, and document library organization under guidance from senior staff
- Partner with internal teams to publish, organize, and maintain communications and resources across digital platforms
- Support adoption of collaboration tools (SharePoint, Box, Zoom, Tango, and similar platforms) by assisting with basic troubleshooting and user guidance
- Help develop training materials, documentation, and self-service resources to improve user adoption and efficiency
- Participate in SharePoint migration and modernization efforts, including testing and validation activities
- Follow established standards for content structure, naming conventions, and digital workplace best practices
The ideal candidate brings experience with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments, along with strong attention to detail and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.
- 2+ years of experience with SharePoint Online (modern) and Microsoft 365 tools
- Understanding of digital content organization, intranet structure, or usability principles
- Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Box, Zoom, or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined processes and standards
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach across teams
- Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly with guidance and support
- Experience supporting tool adoption, documentation, or user training is a plus
- Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) is beneficial but not required
- Competitive salary range: $52,000 – $62,000
