Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Systems Architect in the United States.
This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role responsible for defining and building the core architecture that powers go-to-market (GTM) and business systems at scale. You will design and own the end-to-end systems that connect Salesforce, integration platforms, sales engagement tools, communication channels, and data infrastructure into a unified operational ecosystem. Working at the intersection of Sales, RevOps, Product, and Engineering, you will translate complex business requirements into scalable, metadata-driven architectures. This role requires both deep technical expertise and strong systems thinking, with direct ownership over production-grade solutions rather than advisory responsibilities. You will operate in a fast-moving environment where speed, clarity, and execution matter as much as architectural rigor. This is a unique opportunity to shape the foundational systems that drive revenue operations in a rapidly scaling technology company.
- Own the end-to-end architecture of GTM and business systems, including Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud) and related ecosystem tools.
- Design and implement scalable, metadata-driven Salesforce solutions using Flow, Apex, permission models, and integration best practices to reduce technical debt and improve operational efficiency.
- Architect and maintain integration layers connecting Salesforce with platforms such as Tray.io, Outreach, Snowflake, Slack, and other GTM systems.
- Define workflow orchestration patterns, ensuring reliability, observability, error handling, and idempotent execution across distributed systems.
- Serve as the technical bridge between Business Systems and Engineering, aligning product event streams, APIs, and data pipelines across teams.
- Build Slack-based operational systems that automate reporting, alerts, approvals, and GTM workflows using Slack-native tooling.
- Contribute to AI-driven system architecture, including agent-based workflows, prompt orchestration, and secure integration of AI capabilities into enterprise systems.
- 8+ years of experience architecting Salesforce ecosystems at scale, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Flow, Apex, and related platform capabilities.
- Deep hands-on experience with integration platforms such as Tray.io, Workato, MuleSoft, or similar, including workflow orchestration and error handling design.
- Strong experience designing and operating GTM systems including Outreach, CRM integrations, enrichment tools, and sales engagement workflows.
- Proven expertise in building enterprise-grade integrations across SaaS platforms, data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake), and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, webhooks).
- Strong understanding of system design principles including distributed systems, event consistency, API design, and CI/CD for Salesforce environments.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams, reviewing architecture decisions, and contributing to technical implementation discussions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical architecture into business value and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Nice to have: Salesforce certifications, AI/agent-based system experience, or background in high-growth SaaS or fintech environments.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $128,600 to $200,000 USD, based on experience and location.
- Additional compensation opportunities including bonuses, commissions, and equity.
- Fully flexible work environment with hybrid and remote options depending on role requirements.
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Retirement benefits and financial planning support, including 401(k) eligibility in the US.
- Opportunities for rapid career growth in a high-scale, high-impact technology organization.
- Stipend and resources to support a productive remote or hybrid work setup.
- Inclusive, high-performance culture focused on ownership, speed, and execution excellence.
