Inventory Control Coordinator in Oakwood Village, Ohio at Northern Haserot

The inventory Control Samples Coordinator provides support to purchasing and sales department. The focus of this position is to help coordinate the selection and shipment of select items for the purposes of customer demos and training.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Check code dates on product for proper inventory rotation.

· Do data entry to correct system inventory.

· Organizing, documenting, and tagging equipment and supply returns.

· Physically identify and generate daily order out list.

· Communication and work with the purchasing Department and Department Managers

· Coordinate in order pulling for Food Shows

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

· Pulling and preparing sample orders on the primary days of Mondays and Tuesdays along with other days of the week as needed.

· Work cross-departmentally to update information and communicate product availability and inventory replenishment.

· Conduct cycle counts and performs proper count corrections in both Unix and WMS.

· Physically check inventory for accuracy.

· Conduct audits of inventory and targeted areas of the operation

· Conduct proper validation of inventory in detail and conduct accurate communications with purchasing.

· Perform additional tasks and/or duties as needed.

· Must be willing to learn to ride a one man.

Work Schedule

· Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with the potential of overtime if needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic computer skills, familiarity with inventory control, self-starter, strong communication and people development skills, ability to multitask, basic knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
