Role Purpose Statement

Administrative position with responsibility for monitoring driver SOP and working with the department to ensure compliance in addition to maintaining & monitoring employee safety

Main Accountabilities

Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers

Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files

Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications

Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance IDs for trucks are current

Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures

Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Mus possess a valid drivers license and be able to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire

3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications

Ability to work with minimum supervision

Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills

Detail oriented

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with large groups must be flexible

Open availability, ability to work nights and weekends as operations require

Usual shift will be 4am - 1230pm and schedule will be either Wed-Sun or Thurs-Mon
