Job Description
Cryopak is seeking a Business Analyst & Planning Lead to support and optimize planning activities related to MRP, materials management, and production scheduling. This role combines analytical expertise with hands-on planning responsibilities and leadership in training and developing new team members.
You will ensure accurate material availability, efficient production scheduling, and continuous improvement of planning processes across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis
Analyze and document business processes related to MRP, inventory, production scheduling, and supply chain operations.
Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to workflows and ERP/MRP configurations.
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support planning accuracy and operational performance.
Conduct root-cause analysis for shortages, delays, and planning variances.
Translate operational needs into actionable system or process changes.
MRP, Materials Planning & Scheduling
Lead daily and long-term planning activities using ERP/MRP systems.
Maintain planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, reorder points, BOM accuracy).
Coordinate material availability to support production and customer demand.
Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with capacity and priorities.
Monitor and resolve planning exceptions, shortages, and supply risks.
Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and engineering teams.
Analyze demand trends, inventory levels, and supply chain risks.
Training & Employee Development
Lead onboarding and training for new planners and analysts.
Create and maintain SOPs, training materials, and process documentation.
Provide coaching and mentorship during onboarding.
Evaluate new employees’ performance and development needs.
Support cross-training and backfill planning.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in business analysis within manufacturing, supply chain, or operations.
Strong knowledge of MRP systems, materials planning, and production scheduling.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Bilingual (English & French) — required due to collaboration with Quebec and France teams.
