NEAT Pools is seeking an experienced pool professional to become the Head of Pool Operations & Lead Technician for our growing pool service division.
This is a unique leadership opportunity for someone who wants more than just another pool service job.
In this role, you will serve as both the operational leader of the company and the senior technician responsible for servicing customers, setting quality standards, developing systems, and helping build the future of NEAT Pools.
As the company grows, this role will evolve into a true operational leadership position with increasing responsibility over technicians, scheduling, training, customer experience, and business growth.

Position Overview
This position combines field leadership and operational management.
Initially, the majority of your time will be spent performing and overseeing pool services in the field while helping establish operational systems and standards.
You will be the person responsible for ensuring every customer receives exceptional service while helping ownership grow and scale the company.
This is a hands-on leadership role.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Senior Pool Technician Responsibilities

Complete weekly pool maintenance visits

Perform pool openings and closings
-
Diagnose pool equipment issues

Troubleshoot pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and plumbing issues

Balance and manage pool chemistry
-
Perform repairs and equipment installations
-
Document services and communicate with customers
-
Identify repair and upgrade opportunities
Operations Leadership Responsibilities
-
Oversee daily operations of the pool division
-
Help build and improve company SOPs
-
Maintain service quality standards
-
Ensure routes are completed efficiently
-
Monitor customer satisfaction
-
Conduct quality control inspections
-
Assist with scheduling and route optimization
-
Support hiring and onboarding efforts
-
Help train future technicians
Customer Experience Responsibilities
-
Serve as the primary operational leader for customers
-
Resolve service concerns
-
Conduct customer quality assurance follow-ups
-
Ensure customers receive service reports and communication
-
Maintain strong customer relationships
-
Help generate reviews and referrals
Business Growth Responsibilities
-
Identify operational improvements
-
Improve route density and efficiency
-
Assist with sales opportunities
-
Support recurring service growth

Help develop the long-term vision for the pool division
Qualifications
Required
-
5+ years of professional pool service experience
-
Extensive knowledge of pool chemistry
-
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
-
Experience with pool equipment repairs
-
Experience performing pool openings and closings
-
Valid driver's license
-
Strong customer service skills
-
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to lift equipment and perform physical labor
