Job Description

VP, AI Services

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, AI Services based in the United States.

This executive leadership role defines and scales an AI-driven IT services practice focused on transforming enterprise IT service management through automation and intelligent platforms. You will own the vision, strategy, and execution of AI-enabled service offerings that enhance ITIL processes and deliver measurable business outcomes for clients. The role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, ServiceNow ecosystems, and IT operations transformation. You will partner directly with senior client stakeholders to design roadmaps, demonstrate ROI, and drive adoption of AI-powered ITSM solutions. Internally, you will build the frameworks, talent strategy, and delivery models needed to scale a high-performing services organization. This is a highly visible, client-facing leadership position with full P&L ownership and significant influence over go-to-market strategy. The environment is fast-paced, global, and innovation-driven, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on leadership.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the vision, strategy, and full P&L responsibility for the AI Services practice, building it into a scalable and revenue-generating business unit.
  • Define and develop repeatable AI-enabled ITSM service offerings across ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
  • Design go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and service packaging in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Build internal intellectual property including delivery playbooks, accelerators, and ServiceNow-based AI assets to improve time-to-value.
  • Serve as an executive advisor to clients, engaging C-suite and IT leadership to define AI transformation roadmaps and maturity strategies.
  • Lead discovery workshops, maturity assessments, and ROI modeling to demonstrate business value of AI-driven ITSM investments.
  • Oversee ServiceNow AI solution architecture and delivery, including Now Assist, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, ITOM AIOps, and generative AI integrations.
  • Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards for AI-enabled ITSM delivery across client engagements.
  • Apply ITIL v4 best practices to ensure process optimization, automation, and risk mitigation across service management environments.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop high-performing teams of AI architects, ServiceNow consultants, and ITSM experts.
  • Manage strategic partnerships with ServiceNow and other AI/AIOps vendors to expand solution capabilities.
  • Represent the organization as a thought leader in AI-powered ITSM through industry events and ecosystem engagement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or related field) preferred.
  • 10+ years of IT services experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within MSP, systems integrator, or IT consulting environments.
  • Proven success in building or scaling ITSM or AI-focused service practices in enterprise environments.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with ServiceNow platforms (ITSM, ITOM, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, or related modules).
  • Strong applied knowledge of ITIL v4 frameworks; ITIL Managing Professional or Strategic Leader certification strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI, automation, or machine learning within IT operations or ITSM contexts.
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging, influencing, and advising C-level stakeholders.
  • Proven P&L ownership experience, including revenue growth, margin management, and operational performance accountability.
  • Familiarity with generative AI technologies (LLMs, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic) and enterprise AI integration is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to operate in a fast-scaling, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in ServiceNow ecosystem partnerships and AIOps platforms is highly desirable.
Benefits:
  • Executive-level compensation package including base salary, performance bonus, and revenue-based incentives.
  • Full remote flexibility within the United States.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer participation.
  • Flexible paid time off and additional wellness-focused leave policies.
  • Opportunity to build and scale a global AI Services practice with full P&L ownership.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge AI, ServiceNow, and enterprise automation technologies.
  • Strong professional development support within a global, remote-first organization.
  • Access to flexible spending, HSA/FSA, and employee assistance programs.
