Senior Manager/Director, Marketing Events

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager/Director, Marketing Events based in the United States.

This role sits at the center of global marketing execution, responsible for shaping and delivering high-impact events that drive demand generation, strengthen brand visibility, and elevate customer engagement across international markets. You will own the full lifecycle of industry trade shows and field marketing initiatives, ensuring every event is strategically aligned with business objectives and delivers measurable outcomes. Operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, you will collaborate closely with sales, product, customer success, and leadership teams to bring a unified events strategy to life. This is a highly visible position that blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, including onsite event leadership when required. You will also play a key role in optimizing event performance through data-driven insights, ROI analysis, and continuous improvement. Accountabilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of global marketing events, including trade shows, field events, and hybrid experiences aligned with demand generation and brand objectives.
  • Manage the full events lifecycle, including pre-event planning, onsite execution, and post-event follow-up to maximize engagement and business impact.
  • Own event budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking, ensuring cost efficiency while optimizing ROI across all programs.
  • Define, track, and report key event performance metrics such as cost per lead, pipeline contribution, and account engagement, translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment, consistent messaging, and strong attendance outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support high-quality global event execution.
  • Provide occasional onsite event leadership and support to ensure flawless delivery of major global events.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing events, field marketing, or project management, with a strong record of delivering large-scale programs.
  • At least 2+ years of experience working on security industry or technology-related events is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage global, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting costs, and analyzing event ROI.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and familiarity with event platforms and performance measurement tools.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to design engaging, high-impact event experiences across live, virtual, and hybrid formats.
