Senior Enterprise Services Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Enterprise Services Engineer based in the United States.

This is a highly hands-on, customer-facing technical role focused on enabling enterprise organizations to maximize the value of a complex endpoint security and IT operations platform. You will act as a trusted technical partner embedded with large-scale enterprise customers, helping them deploy, operate, and optimize critical systems across security, compliance, and infrastructure use cases. The role combines deep engineering expertise with consultative customer engagement, requiring both strong troubleshooting ability and the capacity to translate complex technical environments into clear, actionable outcomes. You will collaborate closely with support engineers, customer success managers, and sales teams to drive adoption, resolve high-impact issues, and continuously improve platform performance. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in dynamic enterprise environments and enjoys solving deeply technical problems at scale. You will also play a key role in identifying operational improvements and shaping best practices across customer deployments.

Accountabilities:
  • Work directly with enterprise customers to deploy, operate, and optimize a large-scale endpoint management and security platform, ensuring stable and high-performing environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across networking, systems, security, scripting, and integrations, escalating and coordinating with support teams when needed.
  • Conduct proactive health checks, monitor system performance, and identify risks or inefficiencies that could impact customer environments.
  • Support and guide customer IT teams by providing technical direction, best practices, and architectural recommendations.
  • Contribute to documentation, operational playbooks, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to strengthen knowledge sharing and platform reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with customer success and internal engineering teams to improve adoption, resolve escalations, and enhance customer outcomes.
  • Lead or support integration efforts involving APIs, cloud services, and enterprise systems within complex IT environments.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT, systems engineering, security engineering, or related technical roles in large-scale environments.
  • Strong expertise in areas such as endpoint security, systems administration, incident response, networking, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar), and troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers in a consultative or technical advisory capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, system integrations, and cloud-to-on-premise hybrid environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex technical issues and communicate them clearly.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience with enterprise tooling, version control (Git), and operational best practices in production environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications are a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package with base salary range of $154,000–$236,000 USD
  • Equity awards in addition to base compensation
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Flexible spending and health savings accounts
  • Paid time off, volunteer time off, and parental leave
  • Remote-friendly work environment with required occasional onsite customer engagement
  • Learning, certification, and professional development opportunities
  • Inclusive and collaborative culture focused on innovation and technical excellence.
