Retail Sales & Marketing Manager - Bakery Products in Chelsea, Massachusetts at JSB Industries Inc

Position Summary

We are seeking a driven and strategic Retail Sales & Marketing Manager to grow and manage our bakery product business across retail channels. This role is responsible for developing new accounts, expanding existing customer relationships, and executing marketing initiatives that support sales growth in both in-store bakery and packaged retail programs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new retail opportunities across grocery chains, club stores, and specialty retailers

Manage and grow existing customer relationships

Work with category managers, buyers, and broker partners

Deliver product presentations and new item pitches

Negotiate pricing and promotional programs

Support product launches with marketing materials and merchandising strategies

Identify bakery trends and develop new product ideas

Partner with brokers and distributors to expand distribution

Represent the company at trade shows and customer meetings

Track sales pipeline and analyze performance

Qualifications

3–7+ years of experience in retail sales or food manufacturing

Strong understanding of grocery retail and category management

Experience working with brokers and distributors

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proven track record of sales growth
