As a Web Operations Executive, you will join a collaborative, supportive, and internationally connected Marketing Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technology, problem-solving, and content management while developing expertise in web platforms, digital marketing processes, and operational excellence.
You will work on a variety of marketing websites and projects, using content management systems and digital tools to keep content accurate, up to date, and effective. The role provides exposure to global marketing initiatives and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on how customers engage with our digital content.
OpportunityAs a Web Operations Executive, you will play an important role in maintaining and enhancing the effectiveness of ELT marketing websites. Working closely with marketing stakeholders across the business, you will ensure that web content remains accurate, engaging, and aligned with business requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing requests from marketing teams to create, update, and maintain website content using a Content Management System (CMS).
- Making day-to-day edits and updates to web pages while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Scheduling and implementing recurring content updates and housekeeping activities across marketing websites.
- Monitoring web pages and addressing content inaccuracies or issues in a timely manner.
- Providing first-line support for stakeholder queries relating to website content and functionality.
- Escalating complex issues to senior team members when required.
- Supporting marketing campaigns and projects where web content forms a key component.
- Maintaining and improving process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and helping ensure uninterrupted delivery of web operations services.
Your work will directly influence the quality, accuracy, and performance of OUP's marketing websites. By ensuring content is up to date and accessible, you will help marketing teams communicate effectively with customers and support business goals across global markets.
You will also play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency, supporting marketing campaigns, and enabling stakeholders to deliver a seamless digital experience for learners, educators, and customers worldwide.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to review and copy-edit English language content accurately and confidently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge effectively.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience using a Content Management System (CMS) to build, edit, or maintain web pages.
- Experience using productivity and workflow management platforms such as ClickUp or similar tools.
- Understanding of web marketing principles and digital content management.
- Knowledge of website reporting, analytics, or web performance metrics.
- Experience supporting digital marketing projects or website operations activities.
