This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Xstore Testing based in India.

This is a senior QA opportunity focused on delivering high-quality retail technology experiences through comprehensive testing and quality engineering.
You will take ownership of testing deliverables across Oracle Xstore, XOCS, mobile applications, web platforms, and APIs.
The role combines hands-on testing with close collaboration across development, product, and other cross-functional teams.
You will play a key role in validating releases, identifying risks, and helping ensure reliable and seamless product experiences.

• Test Strategy and Execution: Plan, design, and execute comprehensive functional, regression, mobile, cross-browser, and API testing activities to ensure product quality across different platforms and releases.
• Xstore Quality Assurance: Take ownership of quality validation for Oracle Xstore V23+ and XOCS functionality, applying strong hands-on knowledge to identify issues and ensure reliable retail technology solutions.
• Test Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, test documentation, and supporting quality artifacts throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Release Validation: Validate releases across major browsers and mobile platforms, ensuring functionality, usability, compatibility, and responsiveness meet expected standards before deployment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify expected outcomes, identify risks, and resolve quality issues efficiently.
• Reporting and Risk Management: Track and communicate testing progress, defects, risks, blockers, and escalations in a timely manner to support informed release decisions.
• Continuous Improvement and Mentoring: Contribute to improvements in QA processes, testing methodologies, and automation practices while sharing knowledge and mentoring junior testers.

• QA Experience: Bring 6+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with strong hands-on expertise in functional testing and a solid understanding of software testing practices.
• Oracle Xstore: Have proven hands-on experience with Oracle Xstore V23+ or later, ideally combined with experience testing XOCS functionality.
• Cross-Platform Testing: Demonstrate experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing, as well as mobile UI and functional testing across relevant devices and environments.
• API Testing: Have practical API testing experience using Postman or an equivalent tool, with the ability to validate integrations and application behavior.
• Agile Delivery: Have experience working within Agile methodologies and collaborating effectively with development and product teams in iterative delivery environments.
• Test Automation: Experience with Selenium automation and building or enhancing automation frameworks is a valuable advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr, or Xray, along with SQL and Java knowledge, is desirable and can strengthen your ability to troubleshoot and collaborate with technical teams.
• Communication and Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong client-facing communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
