Job Title: Asst Director Patient Care

Pay Range: $125,000.00 - $162,600.00 per year

Pay Transparency:

The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Ensures that quality, age-appropriate nursing care is delivered to all patients in his/her nursing unit in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures and program plans of the hospital,

Assists with the development of patient care standards, orientation and continuing education,

Evaluates staff performance in accordance with organizational policies,

Develops, implements and maintains a unit budget,

Participates in nursing quality assurance,

Maintains unit administration including scheduling and maintenance of supplies and equipment,

Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care,

Required:

Minimum 1-3 years of relative experience

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

Preferred:

Master s degree in nursing

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey

ACLS and BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Certifications as required by law, stature and/or regulation for area or specialization

Scheduling Requirements:

Full-Time

Day Shift

40 hrs,

weekly

The schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
