POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator supports daily marketing operations across Island Enterprises’ cannabis portfolio, including promotions, social media, ecommerce updates, and customer-facing campaigns. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

· Execute assigned marketing initiatives across retail, loyalty, ecommerce, advertising, social media, sponsorships, and product marketing channels.

· Coordinate campaign timelines, assets, approvals, and production need to support on-time delivery.

· Draft, edit, and proof copy for promotions, website updates, loyalty messaging, emails, social content, sponsorship materials, and in-store collateral.

· Support email design and formatting using approved templates and brand standards.

· Create and revise marketing materials for digital, print, retail, event, and advertising use.

· Coordinate in-store signage, point-of-sale materials, educational pieces, and other customer-facing assets.

· Support loyalty communications related to enrollment, app engagement, rewards, and member-exclusive promotions.

· Assist with ecommerce updates and help maintain alignment between online content, in-store messaging, and active promotions.

· Support product launches, packaging updates, seasonal campaigns, and merchandising needs.

· Assist with sponsorships, partnerships, community activations, event materials, and on-site marketing support as assigned.

· Maintain assigned tasks, deadlines, and updates and communicate progress or blockers in a timely manner.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to keep assigned work moving efficiently.

· Review customer-facing materials before release to confirm accuracy, current offer details, required disclaimers, and brand alignment.

· Maintain organized files, templates, and current asset versions while helping remove outdated materials from circulation.

· Assist with print requests, shipping, invoice collection, reporting, campaign recaps, and general department organization.

· Attend required meetings and training courses, maintain confidentiality, and perform other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will have no supervisory responsibilities.

Language Skills:

Mathematical Skills:

· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, fractions and ratios to practical situations. Ability to express abstract concepts using numbers. Ability to perform basic calculations and interpret marketing, sales or operational data accurately.

Reasoning Ability:

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to exercise sound judgment, prioritize tasks, solve problems, and work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Computer Skills:

· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Paylocity, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, project management software and email design. Proficient in standard computer applications, digital communication platforms, and marketing-related systems with the ability to learn new software and tools quickly.

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education Required:

· High School Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant experience. OR

· Associate of Arts Degree in a related field and 2 years progressive work experience. OR

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business or related field.

Other Requirements: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and follow the Squaxin Island Tribe's drug policies. This position requires strict confidentiality.
