Sr. Technical Product Manager - Shared Services

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Technical Product Manager – Shared Services in India.

This role sits at the core of platform scalability and operational efficiency, shaping the shared services that power multiple product teams across a fast-growing healthcare data infrastructure organization.
You will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for foundational systems such as configuration management, access control, APIs, reporting layers, and internal automation tools.
The position focuses on transforming manual, engineering-heavy workflows into scalable, self-serve, and AI-enabled platform capabilities.
You will work across engineering, operations, support, SRE, and product teams to ensure shared services are robust, secure, and easy to adopt.
A key aspect of the role is enabling internal teams to move faster by building safe automation, reusable services, and intelligent tooling.
You will also drive the adoption of AI-native workflows, improving how teams interact with and operate platform systems.
This is a high-impact technical leadership role where your work directly influences platform efficiency, scalability, and developer productivity.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and lead the roadmap for shared platform capabilities including configuration systems, RBAC, APIs, file transport, reporting layers, and internal tooling.
  • Drive the transformation toward self-serve systems enabling operations, support, implementation, and client teams to reduce engineering dependency.
  • Own internal automation and AI-agent enablement initiatives to streamline workflows such as triage, troubleshooting, and configuration management.
  • Design and improve access control systems, including RBAC, authentication flows, audit logging, and data privacy safeguards.
  • Oversee SFTP and file transport infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and standardized data exchange mechanisms.
  • Develop reporting and data access frameworks, including data models, export APIs, and analytics-ready layers.
  • Partner with engineering and SRE teams to ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and observability of shared services.
  • Define metrics to measure platform success, including adoption, self-serve usage, ticket deflection, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, support, and product teams to prioritize and deliver platform initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years focused on platform, infrastructure, backend, or developer tooling products.
  • Strong technical fluency in APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, authentication systems, and workflow automation.
  • Experience building self-serve platforms, internal tools, or enterprise-grade backend systems.
  • Solid understanding of RBAC, OAuth/SSO, audit logging, and secure system design principles.
  • Ability to translate complex operational workflows into scalable and reusable platform capabilities.
  • Strong data literacy, including SQL knowledge and familiarity with reporting models and data quality concepts.
  • Experience collaborating deeply with engineering teams on architecture, scalability, and performance trade-offs.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Nice to have: experience in healthcare tech, regulated environments, or provider data systems.
  • Nice to have: exposure to AI-enabled tooling, rules engines, workflow automation, or internal copilots.
Benefits:
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage with strong employee support programs.
  • Flexible and inclusive work environment with remote-friendly collaboration.
  • Paid time off and wellness-focused benefits to support work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to shape foundational platform systems powering mission-critical healthcare infrastructure.
  • Exposure to AI-native product development and next-generation internal automation systems.
  • Strong culture of ownership, transparency, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and impact.
