- Monitor, assess, and prioritize emerging cybersecurity and telecommunications regulations, translating complex regulatory requirements into practical business actions.
- Partner with legal, privacy, security, and operational teams to support the implementation and maintenance of security regulatory compliance programs.
- Drive strategic alignment between long-term regulatory trends and organizational objectives, helping ensure ongoing compliance readiness.
- Manage compliance-focused operational processes, including regulatory reviews, risk assessments, reporting activities, and escalation of critical compliance issues.
- Define and evaluate the applicability of new regulations, ensuring responses are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business operations and product development practices.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to support regulatory audits, assessments, filings, and information requests from external stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to gather evidence, documentation, and compliance-related information.
- Partner with commercial and go-to-market teams to leverage security and compliance capabilities as a business differentiator.
- Prepare executive-level reporting and provide insights that support informed decision-making related to compliance and risk management.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, strategy and operations, program management, telecommunications security, or related fields.
- Proven experience managing complex cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and business functions.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulations, governance frameworks, compliance programs, and risk management practices.
- Experience supporting audits, regulatory examinations, assessments, or similar compliance engagements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate insights to senior leadership.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting recommendations and findings to executive audiences.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational abilities with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with global cybersecurity and telecommunications regulatory frameworks and industry standards is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CTNS, CTSME, or equivalent are considered advantageous.
- Experience within high-growth technology environments, enterprise-scale infrastructure, telecommunications networks, or cloud-based platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of security policy development, regulatory advocacy, technical compliance integration, and product development lifecycles is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, including SQL or similar platforms, is beneficial.
