Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Director of Therapeutic Services and Case Management provides strategic and operational leadership for the agency’s wellness services, including case management, clinical services, health services, parenting education, and nutrition programs. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, and youth-centered care across South Florida, while serving as a consultative and supportive resource to Central Florida operations. The Director is responsible for program oversight, team member development, compliance, and outcomes, ensuring all services align with organizational mission, values, and funding requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a relevant field required. Must hold an active State of Florida Mental Health license such as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in behavioral health, youth services, or human services and a minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in supervising different youth programs including two years supervisory and grant administration experience required
SCHEDULE: This position requires flexibility to meet the needs of youth. This position may be required to be on call weekends and holidays.
SKILLS: Demonstrated ability to lead with initiative and collaborate effectively, fostering a positive, accountable, and supportive environment across multidisciplinary teams. Skilled in supervising, coaching, and developing team members through constructive feedback and performance management. Strong conflict resolution abilities and cultural competence, with sensitivity to diverse and trauma-impacted populations. Extensive knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices, applied to program development and service delivery. Experience managing complex, grant-funded programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory, licensing, and funding requirements. Highly effective communicator, able to convey information clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats. Proficient in using data systems and technology to monitor program performance, maintain accurate documentation, and support continuous quality improvement.
TRANSPORTATION: Must have a valid FL driver’s license and good driving record. May need to transport youth and team members using agency transportation.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work occasionally in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. on occasion, bend, sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position performs supervisory duties and is part of the Administrator on Call and Residential Administrator On Duty programs.
EQUIPMENT USED: Must be proficient in usage of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based software.
