Job Description

Project Coordinator – Healthcare Equipment Installation

Guldmann Inc., a global leader in safe patient handling solutions, is seeking a dedicated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. Since 1980, we have been committed to empowering healthcare professionals with innovative hoist lift systems that promote safe, dignified patient transfers. Our mission is to give caregivers more Time to Care by providing reliable, high-quality equipment and support across hospitals, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, and private homes.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the successful planning and execution of our installation projects, working closely with various stakeholders to deliver seamless service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with regional installation teams, contractors, owners, engineers, and architects to coordinate project plans and schedules.

- Communicate project timelines, updates, and potential issues effectively to all relevant parties.

- Assist in developing and maintaining project documentation, including plans, schedules, and progress reports.

- Monitor project milestones to ensure timely completion within scope and budget.

- Support the resolution of project-related challenges by facilitating communication and problem-solving.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies during all phases of installation.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project coordination processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within healthcare, construction, or technical installation environments.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations relevant to healthcare or construction projects.

- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with problem-solving capabilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred required with preferred 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Physical & Mental Requirements

Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 10-25 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
