Key Responsibilities
• Shift Leadership: Direct daily operations for the shift, allocating staff to press, cutting, and glue lines to balance workflow and meet delivery schedules.
• Safety Enforcement: Lead daily safety briefings, housekeeping guidelines, and ensure OSHA and plant safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Quality Control: Monitor folding carton specs (creasing, gluing integrity, print alignment) to minimize scrap and ensure finished goods meet customer standards.
• Team Development: Coach machine operators and pack-inspectors, evaluate training needs, and deliver performance feedback.
• Process Improvement: Use shift metrics and lean manufacturing techniques to trace bottlenecks and improve line uptime.
Other Responsibilities
• Read and comprehend the schedule to determine the sequence of production.

• Setup for specialty gluing applications using glue extrusion systems
• Ensure proper case packing is correct to job specification and fit for end use.
