This fully remote opportunity is designed for service-oriented professionals who enjoy helping people, answering questions, and building lasting relationships.
You’ll connect virtually with individuals and families who have requested information about available benefits and provide personalized guidance throughout their experience.
The role combines member service, benefits education, relationship management, enrollment support, and consultative insurance sales.
No prior insurance experience is required, with structured training, licensing guidance, mentorship, and ongoing professional development available.
You’ll work with qualified member opportunities rather than relying on traditional cold calling or purchased leads.
Success in the role requires strong communication, accountability, organization, and the ability to work independently from home.
High-performing professionals can develop transferable skills while pursuing performance-based earning and leadership opportunities.

Accountabilities:
  • Conduct scheduled virtual and phone appointments with members and individuals seeking information about available benefits.
  • Build trusted relationships by listening carefully to member needs, answering questions clearly, and providing professional, personalized service.
  • Explain available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options, coverage features, and benefit choices once appropriately trained and licensed.
  • Assess individual and family needs and provide needs-based guidance to help members make informed decisions.
  • Guide members through applications, enrollment, required documentation, and applicable policy or service processes.
  • Provide ongoing member support following enrollment, including applicable policy reviews, updates, questions, and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate digital records and documentation while ensuring consistent and dependable communication.
  • Connect with qualified member opportunities and focus on scheduled consultations, benefits education, relationship building, and ongoing service rather than traditional cold prospecting.
  • Participate in virtual onboarding, product education, coaching, mentorship, workshops, and professional development programs.
  • Use Zoom, digital collaboration tools, and virtual business systems to communicate effectively with members, teammates, mentors, and leadership.
  • Develop the communication, client relationship, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills needed for continued professional growth.
Requirements:
  • No previous insurance experience is required; candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds are welcome.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, physically located in the United States, and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before performing activities requiring licensure; licensing guidance is provided.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and interact professionally with a diverse range of clients.
  • Strong customer-service, active-listening, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, organized, and comfortable managing responsibilities independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong time-management and attention-to-detail skills, with reliable follow-through and personal accountability.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and using Zoom, web-based systems, and digital communication tools.
  • Coachable and receptive to feedback, with a genuine interest in continuous personal and professional development.
  • Comfortable working toward performance-based objectives and developing skills in benefits education, client service, relationship management, and consultative sales.
  • Experience in customer service, member services, client relations, healthcare, hospitality, retail, banking, financial services, administration, call centers, education, recruiting, sales, or leadership is considered transferable.
  • Must have access to a reliable computer or laptop, high-speed internet, webcam, microphone, and a quiet, professional home workspace.
Benefits:
  • 100% remote, work-from-home environment.
  • Flexible scheduling opportunities.
  • Qualified member opportunities provided.
  • No lead purchasing required.
  • No traditional cold calling.
  • Weekly commission-based compensation.
  • Performance-based bonuses and recognition opportunities.
  • Renewal and residual income opportunities, subject to applicable requirements.
  • Comprehensive virtual onboarding and training.
  • State Life & Health Insurance licensing guidance and support.
  • One-on-one mentorship, coaching, workshops, and ongoing professional development.
  • Medical reimbursement program for qualifying representatives.
  • Company-supported life insurance and Accidental Death Benefit coverage, where applicable.
  • Leadership development programs and professional coaching.
  • Professional or union-supported resources where applicable.
  • Modern virtual technology and business resources.
  • Potential access to incentive travel, leadership conferences, professional development events, and performance recognition programs.
  • Opportunities for career progression, mentoring, training, and leadership development based on performance and demonstrated ability.
  • Compensation note: This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity rather than an hourly or salaried position. Individual earnings vary based on activity, production, consistency, performance, and results. No specific income level is guaranteed.
