This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Solutions Director, Cloud based in United States.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and accelerating a high-growth cloud solutions practice.
You will define go-to-market strategy, evolve the cloud portfolio, and identify emerging technologies and market opportunities.
Working across sales, engineering, delivery, marketing, and strategic partners, you will turn market demand into differentiated, profitable service offerings.
The role spans the full cloud lifecycle, from assessments and architecture through migration, modernization, FinOps, and managed services.
You will engage directly with senior technology executives and help position complex cloud solutions around measurable business outcomes.
You will also develop partner ecosystems, enable field teams, and establish the commercial and operational foundations required for sustainable growth.

- Define and continuously refine the strategy, priorities, and growth roadmap for the cloud solutions practice.
- Establish key performance indicators and success metrics to measure adoption, profitability, market penetration, and sustainable growth.
- Monitor emerging cloud technologies, services, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive developments to identify new opportunities.
- Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with cloud providers, technology vendors, OEMs, and services organizations.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from customers, partners, analysts, sales teams, and field organizations into portfolio and go-to-market decisions.
- Shape and package cloud solutions spanning assessments, landing-zone design, migrations, FinOps, modern data platforms, managed services, modern workplace, application modernization, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Create differentiated, business-impacting offerings with the appropriate commercial, contractual, sales, marketing, and delivery components.
- Develop sales enablement assets, including use cases, proposal templates, customer presentations, workshops, assessments, and value propositions.
- Create compelling messaging that clearly communicates the value and differentiation of the cloud practice to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, Business Development, and regional teams to launch solutions and drive adoption across the organization.
- Develop and execute cloud sales campaigns and initiatives designed to increase solution penetration and achieve practice revenue targets.
- Create training and enablement programs that strengthen cloud capabilities across sales and delivery organizations.
- Coach and mentor internal cloud champions, helping develop their capabilities in alignment with strategic priorities and career goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing on market segmentation, positioning, competitive analysis, thought leadership, presentations, videos, infographics, and other content.
- Establish the practice as a credible authority in cloud solutions through customer engagement, industry visibility, and market-facing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to optimize, expand, and scale existing cloud offerings while developing new solutions for emerging customer needs.
- Work with adjacent technology practices, including AI, data center, networking, security, collaboration, and professional services, to create integrated solutions.
- Proactively work with business leaders to support sales targets, field adoption, incentive programs, and overall commercial performance.
- Proven experience leading and growing cloud solutions, services, or technology practices, with a demonstrated understanding of both strategy and execution.
- Previous experience managing the profit and loss of a technology or services line of business.
- Demonstrated success developing partnerships between independent organizations, technology providers, and service organizations.
- Strong background in technology sales, business development, and executive relationship management.
- Proven ability to sell complex technology solutions at the CXO and VP level.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to conduct credible strategic conversations and presentations with CIOs, CTOs, and other senior technology leaders.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience selling cloud solutions and services across major cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on knowledge across at least five relevant cloud domains, including cloud assessments, landing-zone design and deployment, cloud migrations, cloud operations and FinOps, modern data platforms, managed services, modern workplace solutions, application modernization, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience managing and delivering complex IT projects on schedule and within budget.
- Demonstrated ability to translate market requirements and customer needs into compelling, differentiated service offerings.
- Strong understanding of cloud go-to-market strategy, solution packaging, positioning, pricing, and sales enablement.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, engineering, delivery, marketing, business development, and executive leadership.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment while managing multiple strategic priorities.
- Strong adaptability and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to quickly understand and apply emerging technologies, products, and processes.
- Sound business judgment and the ability to evaluate complex situations and determine appropriate courses of action.
- Competitive compensation: Expected base salary range of $175,000–$225,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, certifications, knowledge, and geographic location.
- Additional compensation: Eligibility for potential commissions and discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary.
