Position Summary: At Tru by Hilton and Home2 Suites, you are Free to be You with Tru Spirit! Our Front Desk Team fosters a fresh and playful attitude that brings energy, a Tru spirit, and genuine warmth to every shift, creating a laid-back place where guests feel right at home. As our Front Desk Supervisor, you'll lead the team that gives every guest their first and last impression. You'll guide and support Guest Service Agents, keep daily operations running smoothly, and create memorable experiences for every guest. We're looking for an organized, upbeat leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves taking care of people, and is excited to help build a team from day one.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee the Front Desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes
  • Supervise and support Guest Service Agents, providing training and guidance to maintain high service standards
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments to optimize occupancy
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing, and financial transactions
  • Enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety
  • Assist in resolving operational issues and implementing process improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by hotel leadership.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and team engagement skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and tact
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer work, phone operation, and handling documents
  • Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone
  • Occasional bending, reaching, and stooping
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20–25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, packages)
  • Visual ability to read screens, reports, and guest information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
