Assistant Community Manager

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job description:

Overview

A multifamily property management company is seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to join the onsite management team at an apartment community in the Gainesville, GA area.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, comfortable with the financial side of property operations, and ready to take an active role in supporting the overall performance of the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Community Manager with the day-to-day operations of the property
  • Manage resident accounts, rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and payment arrangements
  • Prepare and process notices, renewal documentation, and other resident correspondence
  • Assist with accounts receivable and property financial reporting
  • Support leasing efforts, including prospective resident follow-up, applications, and move-ins
  • Respond professionally and promptly to resident questions and concerns
  • Assist with resident retention and renewal efforts
  • Maintain accurate resident files and documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements
  • Coordinate with maintenance and other onsite team members to provide a high level of resident service
  • Assist the Community Manager with property inspections, operational priorities, and overall community performance
  • Assume additional community management responsibilities in the Community Manager's absence

Qualifications

  • Previous multifamily property management experience required
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager, Leasing Manager, or similar onsite role strongly preferred
  • Experience with collections, delinquency management, renewals, and resident account administration
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
  • Property management software experience required; Entrata experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
