Strategic Analyst, Revenue Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Analyst, Revenue Operations based in the United States.

This high-impact role sits at the intersection of data, revenue strategy, and operational excellence across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
You will turn complex datasets into actionable insights that improve growth, efficiency, forecasting, and revenue predictability.
Working closely with Revenue Operations leadership, you will help identify opportunities, uncover risks, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
The role combines advanced SQL, data modeling, visualization, business analysis, and strategic consulting in a highly collaborative environment.
You will build trusted revenue datasets and executive dashboards that enable leaders to make faster, better-informed decisions.
Your recommendations will influence areas such as territory planning, quota setting, marketing attribution, and overall go-to-market performance.
This is an opportunity for a strategic, technically strong analyst to become a key bridge between sophisticated data architecture and business strategy.

Accountabilities
  • Generate strategic insights: Partner with Revenue Operations leadership to identify growth opportunities, churn risks, operational bottlenecks, and other factors affecting the lead-to-revenue lifecycle.
  • Translate business needs into analytics: Convert complex business questions into analytical frameworks, models, and actionable recommendations.
  • Build revenue data models: Query large-scale datasets using advanced SQL and develop robust models in Snowflake or comparable data platforms that establish reliable sources of truth for revenue metrics.
  • Manage data pipelines: Contribute to ETL/ELT development, data pipeline management, and the structuring of datasets for scalable, long-term use.
  • Ensure data integrity: Maintain strong data hygiene across the revenue technology stack, identify discrepancies between systems, and coordinate their resolution.
  • Deliver rapid analysis: Use Google Sheets, Excel, pivot tables, and financial modeling techniques to respond quickly to ad-hoc analytical requests and validate data.
  • Develop executive dashboards: Design, maintain, and improve sophisticated dashboards and visualizations in Looker and Domo, making complex information intuitive and actionable.
  • Support strategic planning: Provide data-backed recommendations on territory planning, quota setting, marketing attribution, and other revenue optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Act as a strategic analytics consultant to leaders and teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Operations, and Data Engineering.
  • Communicate insights effectively: Present technical findings and analytical recommendations clearly and persuasively to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Support strategic initiatives: Work with Revenue Operations and Analytics leadership on high-priority initiatives that improve business performance, efficiency, and predictability.
Requirements
  • 5–7+ years of experience in strategic consulting, business analytics, revenue operations analytics, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Strong experience with ETL/ELT development and data pipeline management.
  • Proven ability to build data models and structure complex datasets for reliable, scalable, long-term use.
  • Experience with Looker, including LookML preferred, and Domo for advanced data visualization and executive reporting.
  • Strong data visualization and dashboarding skills, with the ability to create compelling stories from complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or Scala.
  • Advanced spreadsheet capabilities, including Excel and Google Sheets, with strong proficiency in pivot tables and analytical modeling.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and analytical best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile complex datasets while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect individual data points and analytical findings to broader business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business recommendations.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and technical teams across Product, Sales, Operations, Data Engineering, and Revenue Operations.

  • Annual salary: $95,000–$115,000 CAD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
