Job Description
IN PERSON INTERVIEW REQUIRED
NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE
Job Summary
This role involves performing chemical and physical analyses, supporting quality control processes, assisting with equipment calibration, and contributing to product development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemical testing procedures, regulatory documentation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
• Analysis of the samples to determine their chemical and physical properties
• Assistance in quality control for production
• Calibration of chemical equipment
• Keeping regulatory, calibration and quality records
• Preparation of chemical samples with and without supervision
• Participation in new product development
• Participation in investigation of quality issues
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.2 or better
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or equivalent
• Good interpersonal skills, and experience with collaborative work.
• Attention to details and organized
• Strong willingness to learn
• Good housekeeping and personal hygiene
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
• Analytical testing experience
• Chemical lab experience
• Experience with wet chemistry and analytical instrumentation (FTIR, GC/MS, Spectrophotometry, viscometry, HPLC)
• Industrial experience
• A strong desire to grow within a company
Work Environment
• In office Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
• Casual attire. Polos, jeans, t-shirts. No shorts or open-toed shoes.
• Trips into the plant will be necessary. PPE required when in the plant.
